President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a meeting with Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe at the Sendai International Centre that hosted the Third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction.
The President of Turkmenistan and Prime Minister of Japan exchanged their views on the prospects of the Turkmen-Japanese partnership in its priority areas and focused on favourable conditions for implementation of multilateral potential of cooperation in the trade and economic area, encouragement of investment work, diversification of efficient contacts between business structures.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that implementing a strategy of innovative development and industrializing the national economy, Turkmenistan is interested in enhancing relations with Japan that possesses huge experience, including in the sphere of high advanced technologies.
