A consultative meeting of the presidents of the Central Asian countries will take place in August this year in Turkmenistan. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the preparation for the summit was discussed in Tashkent by the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the countries of the Central Asian five - Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

«The main topic of discussion was the preparation for the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, as well as the events of a political, economic and humanitarian nature organized within its framework. This meeting is scheduled to be held in Turkmenistan in August this year» the message says.

This will be the third meeting of the presidents of the Central Asian countries. The first summit was held in 2018 in Nur-Sultan, the second in 2019 in Tashkent.
