At the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Turkmenistan hosted the sixth game of the first qualifying round intellectual competition "Young heralds of the world", held among high school students in the country.
The theme of the next game was "Foreign policy and diplomacy of the Ottoman
empire”, which was also dedicated to an entertaining tour, organized on the eve of the competition. Together with the teachers of the department Social Sciences IMO Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country the guys went to capital monument of Independence.
The attention of schoolchildren was attracted by the sculptures towering here the greatest historical figures - folk heroes, powerful rulers, conquerors. Of particular interest to participants deeply passionate about history, caused a sculpture of the ruler Ertugrul Gazi, who stood at origins of the great Ottoman Empire. From the teacher's story the children learned a lot of new and interesting things about the history of this state, diplomatic traditions, foreign and domestic policy of the Ottoman empire.
According to the rules of the project, eight schoolchildren - two boys and six girls. These are students in grades 9-11. specialized secondary school No. 87 in Ashgabat with advanced the study of foreign languages, the capital's specialized school-boarding school named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi, as well as a specialized secondary school No. 17 of Kaka etrap, Akhal velayat.
The competent jury included the adviser of the department of European countries Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Nurberdy Amanmyradov, Senior Lecturer of the Department social sciences of the Turkmen State Institute Finance Akhmet Annaberdiyev, as well as senior lecturer of the Department world history of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli Shamuhammet Akmyradov.
Thanks to the high level of organization of the competition, conscientious self-training of schoolchildren and the irresistible desire of each of them win, the game was held in an exciting spirit of rivalry, interesting and spectacular. We note the work of the jury team, which, in all rigor and fairness evaluated the participants.
The winners of the sixth game of the first round of the competition, according to its rules, there were two participants who will continue to fight in the semi-finals of the project. These are students of the Ashgabat specialized boarding school named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi Ayjeren Annageldyeva and Kakageldi Akmyradov. All participants of the game were presented with memorable gifts, certificates of honor and certificates from the organizers of the project - IMO Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and School of young diplomats at the university.
The game was sponsored by a number of government organizations and private companies. State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television and Radio Broadcasting and cinematography together with the television studio IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country. Broadcast competition for Turkmen viewers will be held in the coming days.
Ahead is the seventh game of the first round of the intellectual competition "Young messengers of peace”, which will take place for the new team of participants on April 12 current year. According to the organizers of the project, the upcoming game will dedicated to the topic of foreign policy and diplomacy of Akgoyunly, Garagoyunly and Mamluk Turkmen states.
