The National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan hosts advanced training courses for teachers of the country with the participation of teachers of the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. The grand opening of the methodological and practical courses took place on November 18 with the participation of guests from Russia, teachers of our country, as well as a representative of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan, E.S. Zaitseva. Advanced training courses brought together teachers from Ashgabat, Arkadag and all regions of the country, including, teachers of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions. Among the students of the courses are teachers of the Turkmen State University named afterMakhtumkuli, D.Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages , S.Seidi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute, Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, as well as pedagogical schools named after Aman Kekilov, Beki Seitakov and other educational institutions of Turkmenistan. The courses are organized within the framework of a cooperation agreement between The National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan and Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, signed in October 2024 and became an important step in the development of bilateral relations. The key areas of the document are professional development of teaching staff, improvement of professional skills and retraining of personnel.
Professional courses are held in six main areas:
1. The development of mathematical and natural science literacy of primary school children and assessment methods in teaching in primary school.
2. Innovative activity of teachers of preschool educational institutions.
3. The content and organization of the work of speech pathologists in preschool educational institutions.
4. Improving the professional competencies of teachers of the Russian language and literature.
5. The possibilities of educational psychologists in solving urgent problems of our time.
6. The use of modern technologies in teaching the disciplines "Fundamentals of life" and "Physical culture" to improve the educational literacy of schoolchildren.
Advanced training courses will provide an opportunity for the country's teaching staff to familiarize themselves with modern approaches in planning and conducting lessons, methods and techniques for using innovative pedagogical technologies in the educational process, methods for developing and implementing digital educational resources, approaches to the development of mathematical literacy and teaching the creatively gifted children, as well as other relevant topics. Based on this, the courses will contribute to the successful implementation of the goals and objectives of the "Concept of improving teaching methods in general education programs in Turkmenistan until 2028". The duration of the courses will be 72 academic hours. Upon completion of the courses, teachers will be issued an international certificate.
