Cartoons are the favorite entertainment of children, and if we remember that we all come from childhood, then we can assume that people of all ages like to watch bright animated films - from young to old. Most often, while watching the characters moving on the screen, we do not think about the technical side of creating cartoons, but with the advent of new technologies, the process of animating the picture itself has changed.

Correspondents of "ZV" went to one of the Ashgabat studios "Mahabat Müdirligi" to find out how and what modern cartoons are made of.

Every day, Turkmen animators develop ideas for creating new animated films, trying to make them not only interesting, but also useful for young viewers.

On the air of children's TV shows, you can see educational cartoons on various topics. Moreover, the characters live not only on the screen, on the basis of the plots, developing coloring books are created, accompanied by QR codes.

By scanning the code with a smartphone camera, you can find your favorite cartoon series on the Internet.

– Our studio works in two main types of modern animation 2D - hand-drawn animation and 3D - computer animation, says director of “Mahabat Müdirligi” Rovshen Velmiyev. – Basically, we create scientific and educational cartoons, in which, in a language accessible to a children's audience, we talk about the world around us – space, planets, inhabitants of flora and fauna. One of the novelties of this series is dedicated to World Environment Day and tells about respect for nature. We also develop applications and computer games. Our adventure computer game "VR-Turkmenistan" was presented at the World Expo 2020.

A large team is working on the creation of cartoons, animated series, computer games. The scriptwriters come up with the plot of the picture, the artists draw the characters, the musicians write the music for the future cartoon, the storyboard and coloring are done. And that is not all. Today, computer programs help to significantly speed up the work of multipliers.

The task of 3D animators is not only the creation of three-dimensional models of the image. For a more realistic perception, the movements and reactions of the characters are being worked out. Step by step, the animator constructs a portrait of the hero, "teaches" him to move and express the necessary emotions through his own.

“The creation of modern cartoons is a complex, time-consuming process, so those who dream of mastering the profession of a 3D animator will need not only talent, artistic taste, imagination, the ability to observe, but also a strong desire,” explains Rovshen Velmiyev. – Today, this type of activity is in great demand on the labor market, and we, in turn, strive to involve young specialists.

All educational cartoons are available on the website Turkmen TV.
