A week of Russian language and literature is being held at the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev.

During the week, visitors will be able to get acquainted with an exhibition dedicated to the Russian language, literature, art and science of this country, which was prepared by the teaching staff of the higher educational institution.

Also, within the framework of the week, it is planned to hold a review of wall newspapers on the topic “Russian language is the language of peace and friendship”, a brain ring, a theatrical reading of poems by Russian authors.

As the teacher of the university Ogulnyyaz Annataganova notes, the purpose of this event is to introduce the younger generation to the study of the Russian language, acquaintance with Russian culture, literature and science.

It is noteworthy that this year the Russian Language Week coincided with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Russia.
