On May 17-19, 2022, a regional workshop on the Risk Analysis was held at the “Archabil” Hotel in the capital as part of the BOMCA 10 Program.

The conference was attended by representatives of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan, as well as relevant government agencies.

At the seminar, the parties exchanged views on such issues as the development of regional cooperation and the improvement of border management within the framework of the BOMCA program of the European Union.

The meeting discussed issues such as the risk assessment mechanism, the legal framework and measures to improve the system. The participants were trained on the modern instruments and techniques to collect information on the strategic management, exchange information and prepare analytical products. The expert team also facilitated discussions on differences and commonalities among the risk analysis systems in the EU and Central Asian countries.

At the end of the meeting, its participants noted the importance of holding such international seminars on a regular basis to expand cooperation with reputable international organizations and study best practices.
