Missing big travels, the string orchestra conducted by Takhir Ataev presented a new concert program called “Paris mon amour!” to the attention of the Ashgabat public. ("Paris, my love!"). For two whole evenings in a row - May 28 and 29, the musicians played the most famous French melodies in the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center.

The Youth String Orchestra is famous for its original concert programs. This time, admirers of the musical group's creativity could feel like passengers on an impromptu airliner. Concert tickets, designed in the style of boarding passes, guaranteed boarding a virtual plane. And the stage momentarily turned into a waiting room, where the dispatcher's female voice announced:

"Dear passengers! Ashgabat-Paris flight departs in a few minutes. Please fasten your seat belts. The captain of the aircraft, conductor Takhir Ataev and the string orchestra wish you a pleasant flight!

Thanks to a huge screen broadcasting French cityscapes, the audience of the concert was instantly transported to the streets of Paris. The musical excursion program included the best songs of the French singer and actress Edith Piaf, the romantic compositions of the French chansonnier Joe Dassin, as well as the magical music of the composer Vladimir Kosma, known to us from French-made films.

For the first time, vocalist Svetlana Naubatova performed on the same stage with the orchestra of Takhir Ataev, who took an active part in the selection of the concert repertoire. In the magnificent performance of the artist, the songs that glorified Edith Piaf to the whole world were performed - “Non, je ne regrette rien”, “La foule”, “Milord” and others. Another debutant of the program was the laureate of international competitions Hijran Joragulyev.

Singing voices were also found among the musicians of the orchestra. Ogulgerek Soltanmuradova pleased with her performance of Lara Fabian's hit "Je t'aime". Soloists in the program were the “golden saxophone” Kakadzhana Hudajberdyeva and the first violin of the orchestra, laureate of the festival “Sounds of Dutar” Bahram Dolyev. The “master of disguise” Mansur Sharipov, who enlivened the velvety voice of Joe Dassin and performed the most famous song from the musical “Notre Dame de Paris” “Belle”, received a warm applause from the audience.

The final composition was the theme from the film The Professional starring Jean Paul Belmondo. The sad music, written by the composer Ennio Morricone, touched the hearts of the audience so much that numerous guests of the evening asked to perform an encore melody.

At the end of the concert, as in the best traditions of cinema, credits with the names of the orchestra members appeared on the screen. The musical walk around Paris was a success. And the passengers of the concert flight greeted the “soft landing” with unceasing applause.
