Telephone conversation between President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and president of Republic of Turkey Recep Tayip Erdogan was held.
Having warmly greeted each other, the Leaders of two countries shared mutual congratulations on occasion of Kurban Bayramy holiday, having addressed prosperity and well-being to Turkmen and Turkish people.
Having stated with delight high level of traditionally friendly interstate dialog, having a character of strategic partnership, the Presidents discussed most important aspects of bilateral cooperation. Having confirmed invariable intention of the sides to continue intensification and expansion of the fruitful relations in all directions, Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Recep Tayip Erdogan mentioned the importance of considerable mutual potential and wide opportunities for intensification of Turkmen – Turkish cooperation including implementation of large projects, which serve for economic improvement of two fraternal peoples. In this context, the role of interstate committee for definition of new forms of consolidation of productive relations was highlighted.
During the conversation, the Heads of two countries, having mentioned the importance of traditional dialog in humanitarian sphere, where considerable practice of fruitful cooperation is present, spoke for further expansion of contact in education, science, culture, sport and tourism.
Turkmen and Turkish Leaders also discussed actual aspects of regional and international policy presenting mutual interest. It was emphasized that similarity and community of positions of Turkmenistan and Republic of Turkey for actual matters of the real time, including provision of global peace, security and sustainable development, is a reliable base for consolidation of constructive partnership in the world arena.
