The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during the talks in Ashgabat with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, highly appreciated the Turkmen-Uzbek inter-parliamentary dialogue.

«I would like to dwell separately on inter-parliamentary cooperation. Close interaction between the legislative bodies of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan is the most important and integral part of relations between the two states», –the head of Turkmenistan noted.

According to him, the Turkmen-Uzbek inter-parliamentary relations make a significant contribution to strengthening peace and stability in Central Asia.

«The participation of our parliamentarians in the work of various regional forums is aimed at creating favorable legal prerequisites and conditions for the successful course of political, economic, humanitarian cooperation, their work enriches the traditional diplomatic mechanisms of interaction», –Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized.
