The winners of the contest "The World: the voice of children" were determined

In honor of the approaching International Day of Neutrality, the Peace Foundation of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the editorial office of the Güneş magazine held a creative competition “Parahatçylyk: çagalaryň sesi” (“Peace: the voice of children”) among students in grades 4-11 of general education country schools. The main goals of the creative competition were: education of the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, peacefulness and humanism and on the basis of national values; development of the creative abilities of young people and the identification of the most talented representatives; widespread promotion of a culture of peace and good neighborliness among young people and a demonstration of their inexhaustible pride in their independent, permanently neutral Homeland.

The competition was held in three rounds in three main categories: writing an essay, making a layout and drawing. The final state round of the creative competition took place on November 30th in Ashgabat, and the work of schoolchildren who took 1st and 2nd places in the Ashgabat city and regional stages of the competition participated in it. To organize the final stage of the competition, a jury was formed from representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Peace Fund of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and well-known creative figures of the country.

On November 30th, at a meeting at the Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan, the results of the creative contest "The World: the Voice of Children" were announced and an awarding ceremony was held. The first places in three nominations were awarded to: Atajan Garyagdiyev - a student of the 11th grade of the 33rd specialized school of the Tejen etrap of the Ahal velayat (for the best essay), Gulnar Gurbanova - a student of the 9th grade of the 27th secondary school in Mary (for the best layout) and Ismail Ataev - a 6th grade student of the 17th secondary school of Babadayhan etrap, Ahal velayat (for the best drawing). Another ten schoolchildren from different velayats of the country shared the second and third places of the competition.

The organizers of the competition who spoke at the meeting warmly congratulated the winners and active participants of the creative competition on the well-deserved success. The winners of the competition were presented with relevant diplomas and gifts from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Directorate of the Peace Fund of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, and the schoolchildren who took an active part in it received certificates of honor and souvenirs. The best works of the winners of the creative competition will be published in Güneş magazine.
