Within the framework of the project “Response to COVID-19 in Turkmenistan”, the UN Development Program held intellectual competitions among students of Turkmenistan. The brain ring was organized at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute in Dashoguz and the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan in Mary. It became a test of students' knowledge of COVID-19 prevention and pandemic response measures.

UNDP representatives briefed the participants on the project “Response to COVID-19 in Turkmenistan”, the Environmental and Social Framework Document (ESMF) and the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP). The winners were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts. Raising awareness of COVID-19 prevention, lessons learned during the current pandemic will help increase preparedness to deal with new challenges.
