On December 22 this year, a thematic meeting was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia Dovlet Jorayevich Myradov. The meeting was organized for students on the initiative of the country's Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, the Ambassador spoke about the history, present and future of Turkmen-Georgian relations, high-level visits by heads of state, political, trade, economic, scientific, educational and cultural ties established between the two countries.
Ambassador D. Myradov emphasized that today Georgia is an active participant in transport and transit routes. Separately, the ambassador noted the importance of the new route from Afghanistan to Turkey, passing, among other things, through the territory of Georgia.
At the end of the meeting, future diplomats asked the ambassador many questions on topics of interest to them.
