Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, according to a good tradition, attended the New Year's performance at the Main New Year Tree of the country, installed on the square in front of the Älem Cultural and Entertainment Center.

Here, in one of the most picturesque corners of the white marble Ashgabat - at the foot of the majestic snow-capped Kopetdag Mountains, a colorful festive celebration unfolded with the participation of young Turkmen citizens.

Our white marble capital welcomes the New Year 2023 in an unprecedentedly magnificent outfit of illuminations and sparkling decorations that, as if by magic, transformed city streets, squares, parks and squares.

The magical town created here, shimmering with all the colors of the rainbow, plunges you into the atmosphere of a New Year's miracle and expectation of surprises, vivid impressions and extraordinary adventures in the company of your favorite heroes of children's fairy tales and cartoons.

These days, the main Christmas tree of the country is becoming a place of attraction for many children, including those who come from different parts of our Motherland. Honors students, winners of subject Olympiads, sports competitions and creative competitions, as well as children from orphanages received an invitation to take part in New Year's celebrations in the capital.

Everyone is looking forward to the arrival of the head of state, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, with joyful excitement and impatience. After all, it is a great honor for children to take part in the celebration together with the President of the country, who comes to congratulate the kids and schoolchildren, admonish them to strive for knowledge and love the Motherland.

The snow-white costumes of the young artists created the impression that lush snow had fallen on the area around the Main Christmas Tree, and their sparkling eyes and perky smiles shone brighter than New Year's decorations on the branches of a coniferous beauty.

The spectacle of the performance was supplemented by the "revived" characters of Turkmen folklore and fairy tales of the peoples of the world.
