Modern trends and new directions in the development of energy were discussed by scientists of the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan at the seminar "The role of energy in the national economy of Turkmenistan", held on September 5. The heads of several laboratories and leading researchers of the Technocenter made presentations related to specialized research with an emphasis on the application of their results in production.

Thus, Meretdurdy Gurbanyazov, the head of the Laboratory of Environmental Protection Technology, devoted his presentation to alternative agriculture based on solar energy. Meretmukhammet Khudaiberdiev, the head of the Laboratory of Energy Production Technology and Energy Saving and Measurement Metrology, spoke about the development of a business plan to create an industrial-scale production of "Feed additives for poultry" based on waste-free technology by combining various energy sources.

Khalmyrat Orunbayev, the head of the Nanotechnology Laboratory of the Workshop Center, dedicated his speech to the energy-saving synthesis of nanoparticles of various metals by laser ablation. And the use of energy-saving technologies in the production of mixed fertilizers was the topic of a speech by Jeren Sylapova, who heads the Laboratory of Technologies for the Synthesis of New Substances.

The seminar also included presentations on the ways of processing food products using alternative energy sources, the creation and implementation of websites in accordance with the digital transformation in Turkmenistan, and the role of nanotechnology in today's and future energy sector.

The seminar was attended by students of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, who are interning at the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, which actively promotes the close connection of education, science and production.
