The delegation of the business circles of the Italian Republic visited Turkmenistan in order to establish cooperation with local businesses in the field of food industry and packaging production, supplies of agro-industrial machinery and equipment.

The business mission was organized by the Italian Embassy in Ashgabat together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. format in the CCI building, which was attended by the Chairman of the CCI Mergen Gurdov, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Committee of Water Management, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as managers and specialists of many private and joint-stock companies.

From the Italian side, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Italian Trade Agency, which supports the development of companies' business abroad and promotes the attraction of foreign investment.

Speaking at the meeting, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Turkmenistan Luigi Ferrari and Director of the Istanbul office of ITA Riccardo Landi noted that the event has become a partnership platform for Italian and Turkmen entrepreneurs who will be able to implement joint projects using the resources and advantages of their companies.

Then the Italian guests visited a number of Turkmen companies specializing in the processing of agricultural products and food production.
