The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the School of Young Diplomats of the university are preparing for the second game of the qualifying round of the III season of the project "Young Messengers of Peace", which will be held on November 9 this year.
The upcoming game will be devoted to the topic "International relations and diplomacy of the Safavid Turkmen state in the late XVII – early XVIII century". Based on this, a wide list of literature recommended by the organizers for preparation for the competition is posted for the second team of players on the website of IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country www.iirmfa.edu.tm.
In honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the greatest poet and philosopher of the East, Magtymguly Pyragy, the III season of project of 2023-2024 academic year will be held under the slogan "Teachings of the Great Magtymguly Pyragy - national beacon of universal values".
In this regard, the contest will also include questions about the life and literary heritage of the brilliant creator.
In addition, the players need to refresh their language skills, as the competitive tasks will be offered in both Turkmen and English.
According to the rules of the project, eight participants will perform in the second game of the season – high school students from schools in Ashgabat and the velayats of the country. Two players will be declared the winners of the game and will receive a ticket to the semi-finals of the competition, where all the best participants of the eight games of the qualifying round (16 schoolchildren) will meet.
Recall that the grandiose project is held among students of grades 9, 10 and 11 of schools in Turkmenistan and is aimed at career guidance of schoolchildren, identification of the most capable and talented participants who dream of building a successful diplomatic career in the future.
