The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the third game of the qualifying round of the third season of the intellectual contest "Young Messengers of Peace" organized by the university and the School of Young Diplomats.

The current game of the season, held under the slogan "Teachings of the Great Magtymguly Pyragy - national beacon of universal values", was devoted to the theme "Foreign policy and international relations of the Asharid State".

Eight players participated in the competition: students of the 9-11 grades of schools from Ashgabat, Mary, Akhal, Lebap, and Dashoguz velayats of the country.

It is worth noting that this intellectual project is conducted for high school students of Turkmenistan and aimed at providing career guidance for schoolchildren. The competition aims to identify the most talented and capable participants who possess extensive knowledge and qualities necessary for a future career as diplomats. The thematic content of the project covers different historical periods that witnessed the establishment and development of the national school of diplomacy.

The judging panel, known as the "Council of Sages" in accordance with the competition's specifics, consists of specialized experts, scientists, professors, PhD holders and experienced teachers of our country.

The jury team for the third game of the project's third season was represented by Begench Karaev, senior lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and candidate of philosophical sciences, Yazgylych Orazgylyjov, chief researcher at the Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, doctor of historical sciences and laureate of the "History, Culture, Literature and Fine Arts" award, Romanguly Mustakov, head of the Foreign Literature Department of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, candidate of philological sciences, an associate professor and Honorary Elder of the People of Turkmenistan.

As mentioned on the Institute's website, the game was very intense, but the talented schoolchildren managed to demonstrate good knowledge and skills in conducting intellectual battles. The competition turned into a real battle of minds, and in this serious confrontation, it was quite challenging for the jury to determine the strongest participants. Nonetheless, a tough decision was made.

According to the competition rules, two participants were announced as winners, who earned a spot in the semi-finals of the third season. They are Mukhammetmyrat Yakubov, an 11th grade student of secondary school № 40 in Yoloten etrap of Mary velayat, and Aylar Jumaeva, an 11th grade student of specialized secondary school № 41 in Turkmenabat city of Lebap velayat.

The winners and all participants of the game were awarded Certificates of Honor from the Higher School of Diplomacy and valuable gifts from the event's sponsors. Among them were the Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature, and National Manuscripts, the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, the National Archery Federation of Turkmenistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, OJSC "Abadan haly", ES "Aýdyň gijeler", IE "Ýedi dogan", ES "Muhammet Balkan" and IE "Düwmejik".

The game was filmed and recorded by the employees of the national TV channel "Miras" and representatives of the study studio of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The contest will be broadcasted for Turkmen TV viewers in the coming days.
