Professional development courses for pedagogical staff workers were held at the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan.

More than 200 people took part in the program, organized by the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (NCSPU, Tatarstan), as part of the development of bilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan in the sphere of competence of the Ministry of Education of Russia.

Teachers, kindergarten educators and university professors attended classes led by their Russian colleagues for ten days. During the seminars, representatives of the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University introduced Turkmen educators to modern technologies of teaching various subjects.

The program offered participants a new methodology of designing activity-oriented lessons in mathematics instruction. They also explored tools for formation and assessment of educational outcomes in the field of Informatics.

Several topics were covered, including diagnostics and formation of educational results in teaching biology and chemistry. Additionally, effective techniques of an integrated lesson of Russian language and literature with the use of digital technologies were discussed, along with strategies for developing reading literacy in junior schoolchildren, particularly in the practice of elementary school teachers.

At the conclusion of the training sessions, a ceremony was held to present the Turkmen educators with certificates acknowledging their completion of the professional development courses, which were delivered by experts of the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University.

Kirill Voronkov, Second Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan, who attended the event, highlighted that this was the first such practice in the sphere of educational cooperation between the two countries. It is planned that this collaboration will continue in the future.
