At the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azady, meetings on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) continue within the framework of the existing book club «Kitap-paýhasyň çeşmesi».

The next meeting was dedicated to Goal № 5 – «Achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls». The event was organized jointly by the United Nations Development Program and was held with the participation of students from the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azady and the International University of Humanities and Development.

UNDP specialists introduced participants to global initiatives aimed at empowering women and ensuring gender equality. They also spoke about the role of youth in the fight against gender stereotypes.

Meetings on the Sustainable Development Goals among students are aimed at familiarizing young people with ways to achieve the SDGs, increasing their knowledge about program activities planned in Turkmenistan under the auspices of the UN.
