On January 17, 2024, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia M.Ayazov met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia M.Safaryan. About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed, including trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, transport and logistics, scientific and educational, as well as the state of legal documents.

Ambassador M.Ayazov said that the current year 2024 in Turkmenistan will be held under the motto “Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi,” within the framework of which the Embassy plans to hold a number of cultural and scientific events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great classic poet.

The meeting also touched upon issues related to the holding of the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Armenian Commission on Economic Cooperation.
