TAU named after S.A.Niyazov announced the list of participants of the state round of the Informatics Olympiad

The Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov announced the results of the first and second rounds of the Informatics Olympiad held by the university among 10th and 11th grade students of secondary schools of Turkmenistan.

The participants for the third, national stage of the Olympiad have been selected based on the results of the two rounds. The right to participate in it was granted to 86 schoolchildren from all over the country who successfully performed, distinguished themselves at the competition and scored the highest number of points.

The first and second rounds of the Olympiad were held on January 15 and 17 of this year in online format on the basis of secondary schools and universities of the capital, Arkadag city and velayats of the country.

The final, third round of the Olympiad will be held in person at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov on February 15 for 10th-grade students and February 16 for 11th-grade students. Young informatics experts will be given 7 tasks and 200 minutes to solve them.

The winners and runners-up of the competition will be awarded medals and diplomas of corresponding degrees.

The Olympiad in Informatics is held with the aim of improving the level of knowledge in the field of informatics, stimulating and encouraging the interest of young people in studying exact sciences and developing independent work skills in the subject using modern digital technologies.

Moreover, the organization of the Olympiad is aimed at identifying the most talented and capable students, as well as strengthening the interaction between higher educational institutions and secondary schools in the country through information and communication technologies.
