Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov announced the results of the Olympiad in computer science, held by the university among students of grades 10 and 11 of secondary schools of Turkmenistan.

In total, 33 participants received prizes in the competition. 6 schoolchildren won the first places, 10 high school students won the second, 17 students were awarded the third.

The six winners included Ylas Yklymov and Mahmud Mahmudov (schools No. 86 and 83 of Ashgabat), Chinar Khojamyradova and Mergen Annaev (schools No. 32 and 31 of Sakarchage etrap of Mary Velayat), Shukhrat Mavlyanov and Begmyrat Roziev (schools No. 41 and 28 of the city Turkmenabat of the Lebap Velayat).

The winners and prize-winners of the competition were awarded with medals, diplomas and valuable gifts.

The Olympiad was held in the form of individual competitions in three rounds. The first and second rounds were conducted remotely, the final stage took place in full-time format at the S.A.Niyazov TAU. 89 young computer science experts from all over the country took part in the final - 45 10th grade students and 44 11th grade students.

An interesting cultural program was prepared for the finalists of the competition. A guided tour of the city of Arkadag was organized for schoolchildren under the guidance of professors and teachers of the university. The magnificent appearance of the ultramodern "smart city", harmoniously combining the best traditions of national architecture and the best practices of modern architecture made a vivid impression on the participants of the tour.

According to the organizers, holding various kinds of events for schoolchildren and students who are actively practicing in our country, in many ways help to stimulate and encourage students' interest in knowledge, independent development of sciences, develop their talents and abilities, contribute to the upbringing of a comprehensively developed younger generation, erudite and active youth.
