New books for students of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the country have been published in Turkmenistan.
The book "Primary processing of silk and quality control of silk raw materials" is intended for students, teachers, postgraduates of agricultural universities and specialists working in the field of sericulture.
The book includes information on the structural features of cocoons, sorting of raw and dried silk, its physical and chemical composition and quality, acceptance of raw silk, safety rules for primary processing of silk and acceptance of dried silk in silk fabric factories.
The main objective of this book is to improve the training of specialists capable of taking an active part in the modern development of the silk industry, organizing production at a high level and increasing the profitability of enterprises.
Another new teaching aid, entitled “Forest Taxation”, is intended for students of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions in Turkmenistan, as well as for specialists in forestry, ecology, and those working in the field of forest accounting, cadastre, and monitoring.
The book examines in detail the concepts of forest accounting, methods of forest assessment, the procedure for studying the composition of trees in the forests of our country, as well as methods for conducting all types of taxation measurements, the units of measurement used, and the basics of a comprehensive assessment of forest resources.
The book sets out the basic principles of forest taxation in the forestry of Turkmenistan, the tasks and goals of forest tree taxation, the rules for taxation, methods for accounting for forest trees, and methods for determining timber reserves.
The book has been prepared taking into account the main objectives of the course "Forest Taxation ", which consist of teaching students the theory and practice of studying the composition of tree and shrub species, assessing their resources, methods of conducting a taxation and using taxation units.
Training highly qualified specialists for the agricultural sector is one of the urgent tasks in the sphere of national education. In solving this important task, the preparation and publication of new teaching aids for students of specialized universities that meet modern standards, high-quality education, and conducting scientific research in these areas with the participation of young scientists, future specialists of the country's agro-industrial complex, are of great importance.
