During the conversation, the parties noted a noticeable increase in cooperation between Turkmenistan and the International Labor Organization.
Along with this, an exchange of views took place on the results of the visit, including the results of the high-level round table held on February 21 of this year, as well as immediate plans to expand cooperation with the ILO in 2024.
At the same time, issues of strengthening the legal framework by acceding to ILO conventions, increasing the capacity of national specialists, ensuring constant dialogue between social partners and preparing for upcoming events with the ILO, in particular the International Labor Conference, were considered.
In addition, the parties discussed the proposal of the Turkmen side to delegate a representative of this organization to Ashgabat to coordinate the work and regular dialogue with the Government of Turkmenistan.
In conclusion, B.Andres thanked the Turkmen side for the fruitful visit of the delegation, which allows using ILO recommendations to improve and regulate the labor market in Turkmenistan.
