From February 25 to 27 this year, a representative of the Center for Transport Diplomacy at the United Nations was in Ashgabat on a working visit Igor Runov. This is not his first visit to Ashgabat.

During his two-day stay in the capital I. Runov of Turkmenistan held several working meetings and round tables in the transport and customs departments of the country, where topical issues of transport and communication relations between the country and the region were discussed.

On the final day of his stay, an experienced international specialist in transport diplomacy visited the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Discussion I. Runov met with the faculty and students of the university in the assembly hall of the Institute.

During the interested conversation, special attention was paid to Turkmenistan's achievements in the development of the transport and logistics system at the international and regional levels. The issues of cooperation aimed at improving the relations between the countries by improving the transport infrastructure in Turkmenistan and the region were also touched upon.

At the end of the meeting, the hosts and organizers of the meeting – the vice-rector of the Institute G.Yusupova and the head of the department of the University P.Charyev acquainted the guest with the educational centers and the museum of the university.
