Universities of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan discussed issues of cooperation

On March 6, representatives of the Institute of International Relations Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the University ADA of the Republic of Azerbaijan held an online meeting, dedicated to issues of cooperation between universities.

The event was attended by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan G. Eliasov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan Republic in Turkmenistan G. Gezalov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs work of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan G. Yusupova, Doctor of Social Sciences, Professor of the Department international relations and diplomacy IIR of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan O.Mukhammetberdyev and Vice-Rector of the University ADA of the Republic of Azerbaijan F. Ismailzade.

The bilateral meeting took place in order to intensify and effective development of relationships in the field of science and education, in particular, strengthening connections between higher educational institutions of countries through the implementation of educational initiatives, joint projects and scientific activity.

In this regard, issues related to specific areas of joint work and prospects interactions. In particular, the parties considered the possibilities organizing seminars, conducting scientific research, preparation and publication of scientific articles, textbooks and educational benefits, as well as exchange of educational programs.

During the meeting, representatives of the Turkmen and Azerbaijan universities introduced each other in detail to scientific activities, which is conducted in two educational institutions. The parties expressed mutual interest and desire for cooperation.
