The Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute will hold the III Open International Internet Olympiad on the discipline "Resistance of materials" among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and abroad.
According to the organizing committee of the event, applications for participation in the Olympiad have already been submitted by students of higher educational institutions from about 15 countries of the world, including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Romania and other countries.
Registration of participants continues. Applications will be accepted until March 28 inclusive. The Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute invites everyone interested in the subject of students to participate in the Olympiad, regardless of their field of study and specialization in universities.
The Olympiad will be held on March 29 and will be held in the form of individual competitions in an online format. 6 tasks have been prepared for the participants, which will take 120 minutes to solve. The working languages of the Olympiad are Turkmen, English and Russian.
The leaders of the competition will be determined by a competent jury, which will include representatives of Turkmen and foreign universities.
The winners and prize-winners of the Internet Olympiad will be awarded diplomas of I, II and III degrees. Distinguished students who have solved the tasks of the Olympiad in a non-standard way will be awarded Special diplomas.

The Olympiad is held in accordance with plans to implement the Concept of the development of the digital education system in Turkmenistan, as well as to take measures to include the country's universities in the list of leading higher educational institutions of international level.
Among the main goals of the student review is to strengthen and develop cooperation between universities and scientific centers of Turkmenistan and abroad, stimulate and encourage the interest of young people in studying various sciences, create favorable conditions for students to choose a future profession related to intellectual work.
According to the organizers, holding such Olympiads helps to identify talented young people who are passionate about science and research activities, who are able to skillfully and independently solve complex problems using information and communication technologies. Participation in the Olympiad will provide an excellent opportunity for students of universities around the world to demonstrate their knowledge, talents, practical skills and intellectual abilities.
