The new book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, titled "Änew – müňýyllyklardan gözbaş alýan medeniýet" ("Anev – Culture from the Depths of Millennia"), was presented at the recent Cabinet of Ministers meeting. It has been published by the Turkmen State Publishing Service in three languages: Turkmen, Russian and English.

The book highlights important events and historical epochs of Ancient Anev. Separate chapters are dedicated to archaeological findings and unique architectural monuments that have been preserved to this day.

The creation of this popular scientific publication was greatly influenced by information from historical sources collected by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Additionally, the book is enriched with data obtained from expeditions by renowned archaeologists such as Raphael Pumpelly, Vadim Masson, Victor Sarianidi and others who discovered the Anev culture.

Each chapter contributes to the overall structure and narrative, providing a holistic view of the historical past of the Turkmen people, their national-cultural values, and the ongoing work of preserving, conserving and promoting their rich cultural heritage and spiritual traditions.

The publication is beautifully illustrated with colorful photographs and will be of interest to a wide range of readers.

Released this year under the motto "Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi", the new book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has become a symbolic gift for the people of Turkmenistan and guests of the country participating in the opening of the "Anev – Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2024" program and events commemorating the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker, Magtymguly Fragi.

As part of the comprehensive program, guests of our country will have the opportunity to personally acquaint themselves with the heritage of the Ancient Anev Civilization.
