The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly are jointly organizing an international online quiz «If they call me Magtymguly...» among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries.
The purpose of the event is to widely popularize the heritage of Magtymguly Fragi, which has become the property of world culture, and to deeply study the work of the great poet and philosopher not only at the national level, but also among young people around the world.
The quiz will be conducted in the form of testing in three languages (Turkmen, Russian and English). The test questions are related to the rich literary and philosophical heritage of the classical poet, statements of famous foreign writers and poets about Magtymguly Fragi, poems by the great poet about humanistic principles for the benefit of all mankind and his wise instructions. The winners are determined based on the test results and the time spent completing it. Based on the results of the quiz, the winners awarded the Grand Prix and those who took prizes, as well as distinguished participants, are awarded incentive prizes.
Those wishing to take part in the event are invited to fill out the «Questionnaire for Quiz Participants» posted on the official website of the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly www.yashlar.gov.tm. Official registration of quiz participants will last until the 14th of May, 2024 (deadline 18:00). Registered students will be sent a link to participate in the competition. The quiz will take place on the 15th of May, 2024 from 15:00 to 18:00 Ashgabat time.
Once the winners are determined, they will be notified by email. The winners of the quiz will be awarded with valuable gifts and certificates of honour from the organizers as part of the celebrations dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi. Reviews and impressions of the winners of the International online quiz are planned to be published on the official website of the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and in the electronic magazine «Arkadagly Ýaşlar» under the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly.
