Under this name, a conversation with young people dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 was organized in the library named after Ata Govshudov, which is part of the Centralized Library System of the Department of Culture of the city of Ashgabat.
During the meeting they said that the heroic pages of history of this period will never be forgotten. While solemnly celebrating this sacred holiday at the state level, Turkmenistan treats war veterans and members of their families with special care and respect. The heroism and courage of the people of Turkmenistan, who fought for the freedom and bright future of their children, became for the younger generation an exemplary school of selfless service to the Fatherland, native people and all humanity.
Today's peaceful and creative life of the Turkmen people is a grandiose monument to all the soldiers who fought on the battlefield for Victory, and to those who worked in the rear to bring it closer. As noted during the conversation, our memory and immense gratitude to those who won the Victory with blood and sweat is reflected in specific deeds aimed at protecting peace and the prosperity of the independent Fatherland, preserving high humanistic principles and values in society.
