Theater Festival of TURKSOY member countries became a celebration of broad cultural communication

The recently concluded II Theater Festival of TURKSOY member countries in Ashgabat became not only a festival of stage art, a showcase of creative exploration and achievements by theatrical groups from brotherly countries, but also a platform for wider cultural interaction.

The festival's orbit included creative activities such as an exhibition of works by artists from six countries, an evening of poetry, and meetings with young creatives. A traveling book exhibition, organized by the Bazar Amanov State Children's Library of Turkmenistan at the Main Drama Theater named after Saparmyrat Turkmenbashi the Great, acquainted festival guests with works by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the President of Turkmenistan dedicated to the spiritual values of the Turkmen people, as well as collections of works by Magtymguly Fragi in Turkmen and foreign languages, books on theater art, and other publications.

At the poetry evening held at the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, writers and poets from TURKSOY member countries recited their poems, exchanged creative experiences and plans. The evening, filled with inspiration and deep feelings, showcased a diverse palette of creativity of brotherly peoples, contributing to mutual enrichment, strengthening friendship and understanding among brotherly nations. At the end of the event, participants were presented with commemorative gifts on behalf of the International Organization TURKSOY.

At the creative meeting with students of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, writers and poets from TURKSOY member countries shared their thoughts on the works of Magtymguly Fragi, the great master of artistic expression and humanistic thinker of the East. They read wisdom-filled works by the Turkmen classic as well as their own poems.
