Under this title, a celebration of the Harvest Festival was held at the capital’s Center of Public Organizations with the support of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan and participation from the Agrarian Party and the Women's Union of the country.

Leading figures from state agricultural enterprises and trade union activists gathered in the foyer, and a thematic exhibition was organized to showcase the variety of produce grown by farmers this year, including vegetables, grains, food and light industry products. The festive mood for the assembled veterans of the agricultural sector was enhanced by performances from artists of the Mai Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory's folk instruments ensemble, as well as a student group "Miras Folklor" from the Institute of Culture, who presented a costumed composition "Hasyl toý."

Opening the event, Berdimyrat Rozyyev, Chairman of the Council of Workers' Union of the Agro-Industrial Complex at the National Center of Trade Unions, emphasized that the state's care for improving rural living standards is evident: rural settlements are being developed with modern social infrastructure, and rural children attend schools that match those in urban centers in terms of architecture and equipment. Speakers from various sectors of the agricultural industry talked about their achievements. Subsequently, outstanding workers in the state agricultural sector were awarded Honorary Certificates and valuable gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.

Among them was Ilmyrat Abdylov from the "Parahat" daikhan association in Kaka etrap, Ahal velayat, who grows wheat on ten hectares. This year, he fulfilled his grain procurement plan by 104%, using Russian varieties "Alekseich" and "Bezostaya-100." He has already completed sowing winter grain crops. Additionally, his ten hectares of cotton show an expected yield (harvest ongoing) of 36 centners per hectare. Mechanic Shirli Orazov from Mary velayat's division of "Türkmenobahyzmat" production association worked with Uzbek and Belarusian models known for their ease of operation, reliability and maintenance simplicity. Currently, Shirli operates a telematics-equipped four-wheel tractor "John Deere," model 6175M, featuring steering and button control. Annually, this tractor covers a thousand kilometers working in fields.

Silkworm breeder Bahargul Gurbanova from "Mürzebegalla" daikhan association in Kerki etrap, Lebap velayat, produced 653 kg of silkworms against a contractual norm of 400 kg, fulfilling her contract plan by 135%. Annaguly Annagulyev from "Arkaç" daikhan association in Gyzylarbat etrap, Balkan velayat, rented one hundred hectares and allocated them as follows: 64 hectares for wheat, 15 hectares for cotton, and part for melons, growing Astrakhan striped watermelons and melons lines Vakharman and Gulyabi (this year's melon harvest is one hundred tons). His fields showed yields of 40 centners per hectare for wheat and 25 centners per hectare for raw cotton. Annamyrat Bekiev, representative from "Magtymguly" daikhan association in Gerogly etrap, Dashoguz velayat, has been growing grains for 25 years; this agricultural season he produced 42 tons of wheat on ten hectares, doubling his contractual obligations. He also tends to a ten-hectare cotton field where 27 tons have already been collected. The harvest continues but he has already exceeded his yield plan (20 centners per hectare). Among those awarded was Oguljemal Jitdanova, a baker with twenty years' experience at "Aşgabatçörek" confectionery and bakery production enterprise and a member of the Agrarian Party. She prepares dough for thirty types of bread using a special machine.

Myratberdi Pashikov, Acting Director of the Research Institute of Crop Production at the Ministry of Agriculture, explained that five departments operate within the institute: agrotechnics, vegetable growing, fruit growing and viticulture, plant protection and biotechnology. Forty specialists work there, including distinguished scientists with academic degrees. They focus on selection and variety testing of agricultural crops. Scientists meticulously select and crossbreed samples to obtain better and stronger material.

The work of Gurban Novruzov, head of the Cotton Research Institute's department centered in Yolotan etrap, Mary velayat, was noted. Here some time ago were developed and introduced into production some best crop varieties with fine fiber. G. Novruzov mentioned that in 2021 a medium-fiber cotton variety "Ashgabat-140" was zoned in honor of the capital's anniversary; currently two new varieties are ready for state trials. The institute is working on 19 new lines; each breeder has about three hectares available for scientific research both in Murgab Oasis and in Anev (Ahal velayat). Nine cotton breeders at the institute are leading specialists in developing new varieties of "white gold."
