A new catalog-album titled "Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World and Turkmenistan," published following the International Young Artists Competition of the same name, has been added to the collection of the Byashim Nurali Children's Art School.

The collection, aimed at promoting the cultural heritage of Turkic peoples, includes creative works by young talents from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Turkmenistan.

Students from creative schools of our country actively participated in this competition. As a result, the album features over a hundred drawings by finalists and winners from Turkmenistan.

Prize winners from our country include: Mahriban Durdymyradova, a 12th-grade student from Secondary School No. 29 in Yoloten etrap, Mary velayat, who won first place; Gulnabat Annanurova, a first-year student at the Sakhy Jepbarov Specialized School of Arts in Arkadag City, awarded second place; and Begench Hojagulyyev, an 11th-grade student from Secondary School No. 19 in Balkanabat city, who took third place.

The album also includes eight works by talented students from the Byashim Nurali Children's Art School. The authors of the best works are Aynur Karova, Bibi Gurbanova, Akmuhammet Toyliyev, Merjengul Hojakuliyeva, Ayjeren Atdayeva, Gulayim Kuliyeva, Meriem Annaeva, and Gozel Charyeva.

Each work presented in the album is the result of the efforts of young artists and their teachers, under whose guidance these young talents were able to demonstrate their individual style. The drawings were created through the study of both traditional and contemporary art, reflecting a deep connection between past and present as well as between traditions and modernity in Turkmenistan.

The unique creations of young artists form an important part of the overall picture of boundless creativity, reflecting the richness and diversity of Turkic culture. In this context, the young artists' competition held as part of the "Anev – Cultural Capital of the Turkic World – 2024" year by the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY) in collaboration with Turkmenistan's Ministry of Culture was a significant step in strengthening cultural ties among Turkic peoples.

The release of this new catalog-album dedicated to this event promotes mutual understanding and exchange of ideas among various cultural traditions and fosters new cultural connections among the youth of Turkic countries.
