In anticipation of the New Year, a concert by the State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Resul Gylyjov, was successfully held at the Mukams Palace. The concert began with the fantastic adventures of the boy wizard, a hero for children across generations—the brave Harry Potter.

The mysterious and sometimes triumphant music of John Williams psychologically reflected the actions of the characters studying at Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft from the film "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone." Film clips on the screen and the performance by the symphony orchestra were perceived by the audience as a unified whole.

The New Year's atmosphere in the hall was also created by performances from the concert's soloists, each addressing the audience with heartfelt congratulations and best wishes. Particularly memorable was Dovran Shammiyev's address to the audience, noting: "The New Year is a dance of time where past and future meet."

Vocalists delighted listeners with beautiful performances of favorite hits from previous years, which seamlessly fit into the New Year's song repertoire. Bahar Durdyyeva sincerely performed "The Little Prince." Mansur Sharipov's stunning rendition of "Winter Lived in a Hut" elicited a storm of applause in the hall. The charming Shasenem Guverne presented songs from Charles Aznavour's repertoire in French. Maysa Niyazova's performance was also impressive—she ended every song, whether romantic or lyrical, with a final "jazz touch."

The New Year's concert featured music and songs from films such as "Home Alone," "Carnival," "The Irony of Fate," and others.

The concert program concluded with Leroy Anderson's engaging interactive piece "Top-Clap-Hey!," in which the audience participated. Resul Gylyjov led this process.

On this wonderful note, with wishes for creative meetings in 2025, the New Year's festive concert came to an end. As spectators left the hall, some of the more daring ones stepped onto the stage to take photos with their favorite performers as a keepsake.
