The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan announced the holding of the II International Mathematical Olympiad, which will be held in Ashgabat from April 21 to 26 this year.

Schoolchildren and graduates of schools in Turkmenistan and foreign countries who will compete in categories A and B. are invited to participate in the Olympiad.

School graduates under the age of 20 who graduated from secondary school in their country less than 1 year ago and are not university students at the time of the Olympiad can participate in category A. Category B will unite students secondary schools are not older than 15.5 years. The number of participants for both categories is not limited.

The Olympiad will be held in the format of an individual competition in one round. The official working languages of the contest are Turkmen, Russian and English.

The host country will cover the costs of the participants and their supervisors related to meals, accommodation, transportation and travel within the country during the Olympics.

Registration is open until April 10 of the current year on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan for those wishing to participate in the Olympiad and their supervisors.

The II International Mathematical Olympiad is held in order to create optimal conditions for the development of the abilities, skills and talents of young people, stimulate their interest in science and creativity, choose a profession related to the intellectual development of young people, as well as form the younger generation with a broad worldview by strengthening friendly ties between educational institutions around the world.
