The Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute will hold the IV Open International Internet Olympiad in the discipline "Strength of Materials" among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and abroad.
The Turkmen institute invites all interested students who are passionate about the subject to participate in the Olympiad, regardless of their field of study and specialization at the university. Registration of participants is open until March 15.
The Olympiad will take place on March 18 and will be held in the form of individual competitions in an online format. Participants have 6 tasks prepared for solution, 120 minutes are allocated. The working languages of the Olympiad are Turkmen, English and Russian.
The jury of the competition will include representatives of Turkmen and foreign universities. The winners and prize-winners of the Internet Olympiad will be determined by the total number of points scored and will be awarded diplomas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree.
The Olympiad is held in honor of the 30th anniversary of our country's permanent neutrality and the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's membership in the UN, as well as within the framework of the Concept of Activities and Priorities of Turkmenistan in the International Year of Peace and Trust.
The objectives of the student review include strengthening and developing interaction between universities and research centers in Turkmenistan and abroad, stimulating and encouraging the interest of young people in studying science, identifying talented and capable young people and creating favorable conditions for their intellectual development.
The Olympiad is organized in accordance with plans for the implementation of the Concept for the Development of the Digital Education System in Turkmenistan, as well as holding events to include the country's universities in the list of leading higher education institutions of the international level.
