Textbooks on athletics, kickboxing and wushu published in Turkmenistan

Textbooks on athletics, kickboxing, and wushu have been published in Turkmenistan. These were prepared by specialists from the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports and released by the Turkmen State Scientific Publishing House "Ylym" under the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.  

The educational materials are intended for students and teachers of higher educational institutions, athletes and coaches, students of specialized children’s and youth sports schools, as well as for all curious readers interested in these sports.  

The new textbook "Theory and Methodology of Athletics" was prepared by professors and lecturers from the Department of Athletics and Weightlifting at the sports university: Dovletgeldi Mamedov, Halmyrat Nepesov, Serdar Nurmyradov, and Saparmyrat Mamedov.  

The textbook, which consists of 21 chapters, examines the techniques of all types of athletics, the specifics of mastering them, methods and means of sports training, as well as planning the training process and the rules for conducting athletics competitions.  

The authors of the textbook "Theory and Methodology of Kickboxing" are professors from the Department of Combat Sports: Soltanmyrat Esenov, Allaberdi Omarov and Shohrat Hallyev. The book provides a detailed description of the history of kickboxing, its stages of development, physical preparation for kickboxers, rules, techniques and tactics of kickboxing, psychological preparation and nutrition principles for athletes, as well as potential sports injuries that athletes in this sport may encounter.  

The educational manual "Theory and Methodology of Wushu" was co-authored by professors from the Department of Combat Sports: Vepa Yazberdiyev, Velmyrat Hojamyradov, Suleyman Jumagylyjov and Resul Myratdurdyyev. The book offers a detailed study of important wushu rules, methods for conducting training sessions, the sequence of performing exercises, and other useful information for effective practice in this sport.
