The spectrum of these goals is much wider, said the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, speaking at the forum «International Year of Peace and Trust: the role of interregional economic cooperation in ensuring sustainable development».

It is necessary to form the foundation of sustainable peace and security in this part of the world, an atmosphere of trust and a favourable environment for broad cooperation.

To do this, it is necessary to use all available opportunities, create one of the promising centres of energy, transport and communications cooperation of the world level, said Hero-Arkadag, emphasising that Turkmenistan places great hopes on the participation of large international investors in the implementation of these goals.
