On March 26, 2025, the 10th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Armenia took place in the capital of Armenia.
The Turkmen delegation was headed by Batyr Amanov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and co-chair of the Turkmen side of the commission. The Armenian side was represented by David Khudatyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the implementation of previously reached agreements and prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation. The main focus was on expanding partnerships in trade, energy, education, culture, tourism, agriculture, transport, construction, architecture, and the textile industry.
Special attention was given to improving the legal framework in financial, economic, educational, cultural, and informational spheres.
Following the meeting, a protocol was signed, formalizing key agreements and outlining further steps to enhance cooperation between Turkmenistan and Armenia.
