A ceremonial conference entitled «Azadi – a storehouse of science and wisdom» was held in the Turkmen capital in honour of the 330th anniversary of Dovletmammet Azadi’s birth.

The event took place at the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi, one of the leading institutes in the country, which proudly bears the name of the greatest philosopher, scientist and poet.

The conference was attended by scientists, representatives of the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for the United Nations for Culture, Science and Education (UNESCO), the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly and the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Magtymguly of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.

The reports of scientists described the large-scale work on the in-depth analysis, study and wide popularisation of the works of Dovletmammet Azadi, who gave the world an invaluable and unique literary heritage.

The speeches of the participants repeatedly emphasised the high significance and enduring value of Azadi's wise ideas and philosophical thoughts, which, after centuries, have not lost their relevance and to this day are an inexhaustible source of wisdom, knowledge and inspiration not only for the Turkmen people, but for all of humanity as a whole.
