On the 2nd of June, the summer vacation season for schoolchildren of the country ceremoniously started in Turkmenistan.
According to a good annual tradition, in honour of the start of the summer vacation for children, a large festive event was held in the capital, the spectacle of which always causes delight.
In the capital's «Mekan» Palace, a bright and large holiday was organised for children from all over the country, preparing to go to children's health centres. Exhibitions of children's creativity were held here, young participants also demonstrated their bright talents in songs and dances. For the main characters of the event, creative groups of the country prepared colorful concert numbers that brought joy and smiles to all those gathered. Representatives of the older generation - teachers, parents, representatives of industry departments, seeing off children on vacation, wished the children a safe journey, a wonderful pastime and an excellent mood.
Then, on the elegant territory near the palace, a ceremonial sending of children to health resorts located in picturesque corners of our country took place. Strings of buses with children, decorated with colourful balloons and ribbons, set off on their way to meet the summer, unforgettable and long-awaited fun holidays.
In the ultra-modern children's health centres located in the town of Gokdere at the foot of the Kopetdag, the «Avaza» National Tourist Zone, as well as in the regions of the country, all the necessary conditions have been created so that children can have a decent rest, improve their health, have fun and usefully spend time during the summer holidays.
Children's health centres of the country are very popular among the younger generation. With the onset of summer, most schoolchildren eagerly seek to visit these health resorts. The centres have become a favourite and attractive place for summer recreation for children.
During the summer holidays, the work of children's health centres in Gokdere will be organised in three stages, each of which will last 20 days. At each stage, 7,145 children from all over the country will be accepted for rest here.
Children's health centres in the regions of Turkmenistan will also work in 3 stages for 20 days. During each visit, these centers will organise rest for 1,500 schoolchildren of the country.
Children's health centres located in the «Avaza» National Tourist Zone will accept children in 4 stages (10 days each). The centres on the Caspian coast will accept 1,783 schoolchildren from all over the country at each stage. During the summer season, a special Coordination Group will operate under the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan to ensure highly organised summer recreation for children and adolescents in children's health centres.
Based on recommendations received from ministries and public organisations, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan has prepared a comprehensive plan of cultural, entertainment, sports and health events for children's health resorts. Their goal is to make every day of summer holidays joyful and meaningful for children. The kids will enjoy exciting excursions, exhibitions, sports competitions, educational and creative meetings, musical concerts, which will definitely bring vacationers a lot of rainbow emotions and vivid impressions.
