A meeting was held at Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University with representatives of the University of Le Havre (France), Vice–President of J.N.Castorion and Director of International Relations P. Barthelemy.

The main purpose of the meeting was to expand bilateral academic cooperation.

During the dialogue, representatives of the Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University and the University of Le Havre the French Republic was told in detail about the represented in higher educational institutions. The parties discussed the priority areas of cooperation between universities in the field of science and education.

It was noted that over the years, the Turkmen State University, along with other foreign languages, has been training highly qualified specialists in French language and literature.

At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed gratitude to the leaders of the two states for the wide opportunities created for cooperation in the field of science and education, as well as large-scale activities aimed at strengthening peace and trust between the two countries.
