A delegation of the University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan named after Oguz Khan has been on a working visit to the Graz Technical University of Austria since June 1.

The delegation includes representatives of the Faculty of Cyberphysical Systems of the Turkmen University - teachers Suleiman Nokerov, Perman Khojagulyev and students Chynar Seitekova and Merdanmukhammet Yaranov.

The purpose of the visit is to evaluate joint research activities, as well as to discuss further plans for cooperation, established within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Institute of Electronics of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology Graz Technical University of the Republic of Austria and Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan.

The Technical University of Graz is one of Austria's leading higher education institutions in the fields of engineering and technology, natural sciences, precision sciences and biomedical sciences. This university is among the best universities in the world according to the QS international ranking.

During the visit to the Austrian university, the Turkmen delegation met with researchers from the Institute of Electronics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Graz University of Technology, to discuss research conducted at partner universities.

Representatives of the Turkmen university visited the scientific laboratories of the Institute of Electronics, the Institute of Communication Networks and Satellite Communications, the Institute of Microwave and Photonic Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Graz, where specialists from the two universities had a thorough exchange of views on further joint research activities.

During the visit, teachers and students of the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan and the Institute of Electronics at the University of Graz will conduct scientific research in several areas related to the development of structures for measuring electric and magnetic fields at close range, measuring electromagnetic radiation emitted by electronic devices of various geometric shapes, as well as antenna design and measurements in this field.

The visit of the Turkmen delegation to the Austrian university will last until June 12.
