On June 4, the Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University hosted a scientific and practical conference on "Politics the Distinguished President's commitment to the development of science and high technologies is the main factor in the country's sustainable socio–economic development", dedicated to Science Day, as well as the International Year of Peace and Trust.

The conference was attended by professors, postgraduates, doctoral students, undergraduates, students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, as well as scientists, researchers from research institutes, specialists from ministries and departments of the country.

The conference consisted of a plenary session and 11 thematic sections. About 490 scientific reports were presented during the forum.

The participants' informative presentations were devoted to such topics as "The role of information systems and software in the development of the country's economic sectors", "The role of physics and nanotechnology in enhancing scientific and technological progress in Turkmenistan", "The importance of training highly qualified specialists in integrated development chemical science and technology in our country", "Modern study and conservation of the biological diversity of the country is one of the main directions of ensuring sustainable development."

The conference also featured presentations on the following topics: "Scientific and methodological issues of improving the teaching of the Turkmen language and literature", "Methods of teaching English language and literature using innovative technologies in a new historical period", "Innovative methods of learning and translating foreign languages", "Modern issues of studying history Turkmenistan and the protection of cultural heritage".

The reports of the participants provided detailed information on the current development of the national economy and the modernization of the country's education system. The content of the speeches emphasized the high effectiveness of the fundamental reforms carried out in the field of science and education in the state and their importance in ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of the country.
