Schoolchildren from Turkmenistan successfully performed at the International Olympiad in Los Angeles

Taking part in the XCEL International Olympiad, which took place on June 1-4 at the prestigious University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), young talents from Turkmenistan won a full set of awards in various scientific and technical disciplines, demonstrating a high level of training.

The international jury highly appreciated the innovative projects of the representatives of the ImdatBot training centers and the Turkmen-Indian Center, recognizing them as one of the best and awarding gold and silver medals.

In addition to robotics, Turkmen schoolchildren have performed brilliantly in other fields. In mathematics, where they won medals of various denominations, and in cognitive sciences – a relatively new field that requires a deep understanding of the principles of human thinking and artificial intelligence.

The success of Turkmen schoolchildren was not limited to medals only. Several participants were awarded special awards for their originality of approach, technical excellence, or potential for practical application of their projects. Such a wide range of achievements testifies to the comprehensive training of participants and the high quality of educational programs in Turkmenistan.

The children were impressed by the trip, the opportunity to get acquainted with a new culture and peers from other countries. The XCEL Olympiad format is aimed at identifying and supporting young talents in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
