The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management received new books as a gift from the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan.

According to the Embassy of Japan, this step was carried out within the framework of the "READ JAPAN PROJECT", which is being implemented by Japanese fund “The Nippon Foundation” and the analytical center “Tokyo Foundation for Research Policy”. The novelties will replenish the library collection of the above-mentioned educational institutions and will be used by teachers and students in their scientific and pedagogical activities.

The “READ JAPAN PROJECT” was launched in 2008 with the aim of donating books about Japan written in English to universities and libraries around the world.
