Doctor of Sciences from the New York Institute of Technology held a seminar at the Turkmen University

At the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Turkmenistan hosted a seminar on the application of STEM technology in education on the topic "Digitalization, IT and artificial intelligence in higher education". The seminar was conducted by a Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences from Melda Yildiz, a specialist in the international Fulbright program at the New York Institute of Technology.

The event was attended by students and teachers of the Institute responsible for the digitalization of the educational process, implementation of artificial intelligence in education, digital learning platforms and educational technologies.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) is an educational model initiated by scientists at the National Science Foundation USA in the early 2000s. STEM is based on the integration of scientific, technical, engineering and mathematical disciplines and their teaching in interconnection with each other to enhance students' skills in solving current technological problems, critical thinking, creativity and collaboration.

As noted during the seminar, the STEM approach allows students to develop key professional skills, technological literacy and the ability to work with modern technologies, which is very important for building a successful future career in today's rapidly developing world.

The seminar greatly contributed to the acquisition of valuable knowledge by the participants, expanding their horizons, mastering the skills of managing innovative technologies and increasing the commitment of young professionals. During the meeting, Melda Yildiz She answered all the questions of the participants in detail.

After the seminar, an introductory tour of the institute was organized for the honored guest with a visit to the Museum of the History of Turkmen Diplomacy, the UNESCO Culture of Peace Club, the Study Studio and the White Yurt of the Turkmens, built for the university project "Young Messengers of Peace".
