New textbooks have been released in Turkmenistan

By the Turkmen State Publishing Service on the recommendation of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan has released new textbooks for higher education institutions and general secondary schools in the country. The recently published textbook "Phonetics of the Arabic language" has been prepared in accordance with the priorities in the field of science and education to train highly qualified linguists and translators, improve foreign language teaching in Turkmenistan, improve the quality of education, introduce modern methods and technology, updating the content of the educational process as a whole.

The new book by G.Gurbannazarova is intended for students studying Arabic at universities, as well as all interested readers.

This textbook has been prepared based on the curriculum in order to study modern phonetic norms and features of the Arabic language in more depth. In preparing the book, the author used various works by Turkmen and foreign linguists and scientists devoted to the phonetics of the Arabic language.

The book contains valuable information about the language, rules, texts and exercises. A textbook "Creative School of a young journalist" has also been released for the country's universities, the author of which is a senior lecturer at the Department of Journalism of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli, Honored journalist of Turkmenistan Agamyrat Mammadov. The textbook, prepared on the basis of many years of journalistic and pedagogical experience, has added to the valuable collection of the author 's works devoted to journalism. Among the author's textbooks are "Fundamentals of creative work of a journalist", "Methods of creative work of a journalist", "Economics and Management of Mass Media", which impart to students extensive knowledge in the fields that make up the core the creative work of a modern journalist.

The new textbook defines the genres of journalism and describes the types of newspaper publications, information about interviewing, approaches to writing articles, ways to promptly submit materials, and editing journalistic text. The information provided in the textbook will greatly contribute to strengthening and expanding the knowledge of future journalists. The textbook is addressed to students studying journalism at universities, teachers of this field of study, aswell as novice journalists working in the country's media. Another new textbook "Information and communication and innovative technologies" was prepared by the authors M. Churiev, D.Charyeva, M.Annaev for grades XII with Russian as the language of instruction in secondary schools of the country.

The content of the textbook consistently contains materials grouped into the following sections: Information and informational processes; Computer information technologies; Communication technologies; Information security; Innovative technologies. The textbook discusses the basic concepts and functional purpose of information systems and technologies, the basic principles of building communication networks, and the principles of operation of various wireless technologies. With the help of this textbook, students will acquire skills in the safe use of computer and digital technologies, taking initial measures to recognize, detect and prevent cyber-attacks.

The questions contained in the textbook for testing knowledge and practical work will help students consolidate the studied material and expand their understanding of the topics.

The introduction and study of the subject "Information, communication and innovative technologies" in secondary schools is due to the high level of technology development and their enormous impact on all aspects of society, as well as the growing need to prepare the younger generation, able to skillfully and freely navigate the modern digital world from school.
