Analysts from Turkmenistan and India build bridges of friendship and cooperation

The recent online introductory conversation between the staff of the Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and representatives of the Center for Excellence of the Global South "DAKSHIN" from India was another, but clearly not the last meeting of partners with whom analysts from Turkmenistan have recently established working and business contacts.

Despite the short period of its existence, the scientific center of the Turkmen university has already established more than a dozen business contacts with colleagues from different regions of the world. The current meeting on the goals and objectives of the "DAKSHIN" center was opened by Professor Gulshan Sachdeva. An analyst from India spoke about the activities of employees of the Dakshin Center. He expressed his readiness and desire for mutual cooperation with Turkmen colleagues. In turn, the head of the Scientific Center for Strategic Research by the Institute of Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan, an experienced diplomat Shiri Shiriev expressed his wishes for cooperation with his Indian colleagues.

Sh. Shiriev also briefly stopped at the capabilities of the university center and spoke about issues that could be in the focus of attention and study of Turkmen and Indian scientists. Both parties were interested in continuing the discussion of issues that were raised at the recent fourth meeting of the “Central Asia – India” dialogue, which took place on June sixth in New Delhi.

In conclusion, the analysts of Turkmenistan and India, they agreed on the possibility of signing the relevant documents that will become a basis and open up wide opportunities for further cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of Turkmenistan and India.
